From the green interior of Kandy to the palm fringed coastal towns around Galle, Sri Lanka’s natural beauty is what travellers will remember.
On a trip to Kandy we were so glad to be told about the amazing Royal Botanic Gardens. The tropical gardens natural beauty lies in its lush green surrounds. Because the garden is so vast and we were short on time, we hired a buggy to take us around. The driver has a set route, but was happy to stop at any time so we could get out and take photographs.
Don’t miss the photo opportunity of the Royal Palm Avenue, and enjoy the orchid house and the spectacular flowering tree’s some of which are over 100 years old.
